did they do the warranty work knowing that you are running aps gear, strange anyway recomend getting a rebuilt auto. I have aps phase II running 270rwk auto started flaring 2nd to third,, took easy for a while then brother drove car wollar!!! woudnt change 2nd to 3rd at all so had it rebuilt by tony at yarra vally automatics, couldnt be happier hasnt missed a beat shaved 1/2 sec off 1/4 mile time.

Shop around now though try kewish automatics in dandy, or preston automatics as well and get the rebuilt u wont regret it.

If you went in and it was slipping and came out and it still slipping they didn't replave the auto. I also believe that ION (company that makes the auto) has to ok every auto warrenty claim, If you have APSII they wouldn;t have done so.

Your problam is the band has gone. This will ned to be replaced and whilst doing this you may aswell look at the rest of the box too. I'd give Dave from Kewish a ring and book it in.

Flared trousers..... I remember that. :spoton:

in this case.... the box doesn't hook up in 3rd - by the sound of it....

Puls - unless there's something whacky going on with your change tables, you have a rebuild coming - so save your pennies and do it right..... as per geea's suggestion.
