Basically they showed how to install your own C02 spray kit for an intercooler. While it may or may not have much effect on our T's, would there be any truth in the general principle of it affecting heat soak etc? I read a bit on water spray kits not having much affect for the T, but what about this? Anyone still thinking WTF? I must admit the show had a F&F type style which made me laugh a bit actually, though in all seriousness I like the cool factor of this along with any positive effect it may have technically on performance. What do the drag racers think? Check out the link below aswell (bit slow though).http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/shows_dtrk/e...6_40566,00.htmlBen Edited 18/05/06 03:01 AM by benjam

It's the exact opposite effect of why the boosted air after the turbo gets hot. As you compress a gas, it gets hotter... Ever noticed how a spray can gets colder as you release the contents?Anyway, the system certainly is effective. It is used in the US... not sure if it has taken off here yet.CO2 gas is also used to improve shift times in some of the top end drag racing gearboxes. The higher pressure of gas works quicker than hydraulic systems.

I'm going to upgrade the intercooler first before getting one....They would really help reduce the air temp to the motor, especially on back to back runs. These guys do them in Oz, so do a few others but this was the first link I found.http://www.alldayperformance.com.au/category144_1.htm

ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle!
