The only harder level of driving possible, in order to destroy good pads/rotors is track work or those who like to rest there left foot on the brake pedal.I.B.They lasted for one trackday at QR, but split the following week. Heat and weight just proved to be too much I guess.Still seemed to pull up well and lift the rear. Much, much better now though. How good is the unburnt fuel on the gear change!? I have been quoted $130 a corner plus $18 postage and was wondering if this is a good deal? I went to supercheap auto today, but they didn't have any and it'd be good to know how much others have paid and where they have got them from.Cheers. Posted 07/06/09 11:38 PM Share Posted 07/06/09 11:38 PM Do you have a BA or BF? $130 a corner sounds very cheap and if they are DBA4000 and not streets for that price get it straight away. You cant run BF disc with a BA caliper unless you do some mods

I am happy with them but not the ferodo formula pads, they squeal like a biatch. Only when dry, not in the rain.

Those in Melbourne, if you let me know, I will ask around the various brake shops and tuners to see if they would give a volume discount if I could get 3 or more guys come along to have their front brakes upgraded. We would all have to agree on what is done to a certain degree. I'm goin for only front upgrade with DBA 4000 slotted discs and Bendix Ultimates pads (as nifty said the Ferodos squealled - which I don't want - heard the Ultimates generate a bit of brake dust - but I'd prefer brake dust to squeal any day).So who's in for this combo and fitted as well? I'll seek out what the shops can do as a volume break (how many numbers they would need to give us a discount) and what the price would be fitted.Upgrade (add name below and I will PM you):EvilDaifu - Front brakes only DBA 4000 slotted with Bendix Ultimates supplied and fitted.
