I totally agree with Paul's and Shane's comments.

It was a fantastic day, which was only made better by the company of other members from this lunatic assylum. I think all 4 boys from this forum did very well compared to a lot of the people there today.  We were all willing to push the limits of the cars as well as ourselves, and have a crapload of fun in the process.

Heel-toeing down from 4th to 3rd from warp 6 whilst stomping the brakes for a chicane is something I won't forget in a hurry.  Power slides onto the back straight at full noise in third - priceless.

Doing small track motorkhana's can sometimes make these cars feel a little cumbersome, but put them on a race track and it all makes sense.  The extra herbs under the hood really transform the car into a track weapon, which can be steered with the throttle as well as the wheel.

If you haven't been on one of these days, then get yourself on one.  They do take bookings for other vehicles besides just the FPV's.

sooo true Mika I think when it came down to the last 15-20mins it was only us 3 on the Track??? still going.. everyone was saying gezz your sliding everywhere, let your car cool down.. but it was too much fun regardless if most corners the car was just tapping full steer lock  cos my tyres were Farked!( time for new ones! lol!) and not to mention the brakes .. wooo the smell :spit: .

Can't wait to do somthing like this again soon!! and cheers again guys! had a heap of fun with you all!

went well put it on tune 3 , first real chance to play with new power upgrade ,may have given a bit more pedal then needed in some events , slalom around the cones but had some , hopefully it was entertaining . heaps of fun , tray on back doesn,t feel brillant on cornering . but then maybe I should have brought a rapid coloured car they seem to go fassster & some 20 in wheels !!!!!!!!!! also did you get my last email re std gear . regards tony

Holly snapping duck sh*t! What a day! It was definitely an eye opener for me. I was impressed with my car when I picked it up mid Jan, but I had no idea how well FPVs “factory format” ran on the track. I have to admit though, this is the first performance type vehicle that I have owned. Before that I owned a BA XR6 atmo, which the wife now drives.

It was a great atmosphere with nothing but plenty of FPVs to drool over and listen to. There were a few really cool personal additions made to some cars – Shane, those wheels look mad and the mods under the bonnet look tough! The motorkhana was all due to the wheels, right??? :crybaby: You were pretty keen on the hat LOL.

Everyone appeared to have fun and was great to get your own car on the track with out the worry of cops or other road users.

I highly recommend to everyone in doing the course. You will learn a few things and have a truck load of fun guaranteed.

I am supprised HSV don't do something similar... oh well to bad. :msm:

I am certainly NOT sorry for my purchase of an FPV.
