keep in mind that usally when ford pop rivet the buttons on the tub the paint is still soft, even though its baked in a oven and sprayed with a multi million dollar machine. even done properly u will sometimes notice a little mark where the button was. I had ford do mine when they installed the hard top and yeh I even sent the car back to have it fixed along with various other scratches on the hard top and after comming back from the panel beater they still didnt get em all of. meh I wanted my new car so I live with it

What a joke my ford dealer charges $2.60 for each plastic plug for this job x 20 = $52.00!!!!!!!!!.It probaly would cost them a few cents each to have them made. Does anybody know where else I may get them ?

I did mine today.. bought the 20 plugs and a bottle of touch up paint from ford for about $60.. well worth it the back looks heaps better now the cotton reels are gone.. I couldn't get colour coded plugs, only black.. just poked some holes in a bit of cardboard and pushed the plugs in and gave them a few coats of touch up paint..

easy job.. hold the reel with a pair of long nose pliers and drill the rivet out.. a few of the center of the rivets didnt fall straight out so I had to poke them through with the pliers..

for $60 and half an hour of your time it's well worth it.....
