This way when you drill the rivets the plastic knob wont spin and scratch your car. The drill bit should be about 6mm. Once the face of the rivet comes off, simply pull the plastic thing off and you should hear the other side of the rivet fall off from behind the sheet metal. I recommend picking the back side of the rivet off the floor so you wont get a puncture. Also use a light battery drill so you dont slip and drill into your car.
