Thought I would try and post some pics, I hope this works not done it before.

Anyway just spent most of the afternoon waxing it, on the look out for a decent glazing product any suggestions?

Hope you like it.............muncher

my suggestion would be to use zaino on it, then add a final layer of carnauba wax over the top..

I see you chose the best colour as well :spoton::spoton:

Thanks for the replies. Zaino, haven't seen that in the auto stores, will ask around and give it a try. Jack as for the boy racers, haven't had anyone give me a try yet. Thought a scoobie was keen for a try but he backed off. I had a Prelude before this and they were all havin a go :tease: .......muncher

I have heard that "Fire Glaze" is a good product, also "Glare Infinity Plus". I haven't actually tried either of them yet but have seen Fire Glaze on a black XR8 and it looked awesome :tease:

I also believe that ZAP F6 has put the Glare product on his car, not sure what he has to say about it now.

yeh you cant buy Zaino in the stores, you need to order from over east somewhere... cant remember the shop I used @ the moment..

its a bit exxy, but it lasts for about 6 months and gives your car a very nice shine..

heres a pic of mine... these were done about a month after zaino'ing and just after a quick wash;

Zaino is the go, for my money its the best product on the market now.

Best results would be : Good Wash with a quality carwash (Zaino Z7 or something similar), Claybar to remove surface nasties, Zaino Z5 followed by 1 or 2 coats of Zaino Z2Pro.

Did something similar on a customers car today, the results were stunning.

Cheers

Guys thanks for the comments and advice. Nang3 mate :laughing: Black is a difficult colour to shine and keep clean. If it lasts that long then I would give it a go.

When I was looking at the Ford Stealers they mentioned a product they put on the paintwork that is supposed to last 3yrs I think. When it comes to a wash you only use sponge and water. Any one now what this is or is it just a gimmick, it aint cheap either.

Thanks ...........muncher
