Effectivly load it up to 4500rpm, step off the clutch. Change around 4800rpm, or juuust after at peak torque on your dyno graph. You have to pedal faster than Fred Flintstone in an oil bath!!! Hang on till the end, do it again.. good read will try that 4300 rpm change , at moment almost red line each change , have you tried second gear launch under revs . I warm tires with second gear launch . still only got 109 mph across line . looking for more . maybe get barney to pedal as well . ← Edited 10/08/06 12:49 PM by fordperformer

I thought someone had but a search isn't finding it.I'm looking for a something equivalent to MT ET Street but in a size that can fit on either the 17" or 18" Falcon BA rim (ie around 245/45/R17 or 245/40R18)Nitto do a 245/45R17 for around $350 www.vpw.com.au/productgroup.asp?CatID=0&PrdGrpID=2436MT will have a 245/40R18 out later, but it's looking like next year.I want to keep about the same diameter of 26" rather than going taller & making the crap rear-end ratio even worse. Is there anything else out there, or are the Nitto's worth the bucks??Thanks

I get 5x the amount of grip from my 235/45/17 Federal 595 (basic model) then I do with my 275/30/19's Kumho K104's on the bum!! (but for the price of a K104 their half decent too mileage wise)

The MT is by far the better tyre. Why dont you want to use them? They fit great. The 275 also gives more rubber on the track.Geea.

I didn't originally realise the 275 would fit onto an 8" rim, but blueboost has given me the heads up, so it looks like the way I'll be heading.Has anyone used "Bottle or Boost" as their prices seem fairly good at $650 delivered:http://www.bottleorboost.com.au/mickeythompson-STREET.htm
