Hey guys!

Just a quick one it this may have been answered before, thinking about fitting 20 inch wheels to my XR6T. Do they fit ok or does it require mods to make them fit. Any personal experiences people have had??

Cheers

They will fit ok, provided you buy them for the BA Ford Falcon, but be prepared to park in the middle of the road in future, as you dare not come close to any kerbs, and potholes will be killers as well.

Apart from that, no problems :tease:

Hey mate...

I have them, and have had them for about 5 or 6 months...

They are G-Max 182's, 20 x 8.5" all round... they don't scrub, never have, no guard mods to fit them and the car is lowered on King Springs SL/SSL...

Here is a pic... hey flukey more pics of my car on here :gooff::upsidedown:

If I had my time again I would buy the same wheels but in 19's with an 8.5" front and 9.5" rear... a bit more practical...

And with 20's your speedo will be about 5kph out...

I have the same 20" wheels as Jack yet except in 9.5" width at the rear with 275/30 tyres on.

My guards do have to be rolled at the rear as they are slightly rubbing on hard cornering. Ensure you get the correct offset wheels though.

nice couple black marks in the driveway jack lol

Cheers mate...

But it's not my house... it belongs to my best mate and his house mate... my tyres are too expensive to do crazy stuff like that in the driveway...

I put a set of FPV 19's (19x245x3o) on my car and first time I pulled in my driveway it pushed the rim into the gaurd damaging it, mine has been lowered aswell. If driven carefully and you come into drivways with the front wheels straight it'll be fine, when cornering hard it just nips the fromt tires to.
