post-5112-1146391163_thumb.jpgpost-5112-1146391061_thumb.jpgI was checking my crossover hose clamps today and noticed the rear one had a split in it and the rubber was ripping away.Has anybody changed to silicone or something stronger or should I just go and get another one from Ford.. I have change mine to silicone hose. I got 500mm of it from a local turbo place here in perth and since ive fitted it i havent had a single drama..... :spoton:

I'd definatly recommend it as the ford piece is a P.O.S...... :spoton: ...only down side is that is scream "IM NOT STOCK" when it goes to ford for servicing...

Dont buy those $70 each silicone coupler there a rip off. find a place that does turbo diesel 4wd's and truck they almost always have offcuts laying around. from the 500mm i got i made connector for the throttle body, turbo inlet and inlet connection on the cross over and and turbo outlet to crossover and i stilll have a piece left over that'l do one more crossover to throttle body join... :spoton: good deal for $50(ish) of hose... :spoton:
