It's pretty radical looking compared to the Ba; I guess the colour and 19s make the difference. It was delivered in Sydney (Hills Ford) and couple of days later I drove back to our farm (near Bathurst, NSW). That in itself is a great comparo test, as I cover 160ks with mixture of freeway, mountain hwy, then 50ks of fantastic, fast, winding country 'B' road - that is not patrolled (and was a stage of East Coast Targas).First impressions - against Ba F6:* Sit higher in the saddle; dont really know why - but Bf has leather and maybe the padding is thicker/firmer. I use the lowest setting - but still feels too high.* Firmer ride - that would be the 19s - but is not uncomfortable.* Better turn-in and outright adhesion; that would be the 19s + 245 profile tyres. * 6spd auto is superb - intuitive - and the down-changes when slowing are great. Also when in manual mode it holds the gear you select - regardless of how slow or quick you go. Overall though, I still like the 'old' 6 spd manual - in that you always know what gear you are in - and seem to have that bit more control.* Gets heaps more looks!!In general, when compared to Euro performance cars, the value in an F6 is just amazing. Hope this helps prospective owners....Cheers,Chris

It's certainly not the sort of car you drive if you want to be inconspicuos.I came from an XR6T and found the seating position to be lower than the BA. When I had the sheepskins fited the guys told me that the seat covers were identical to the BA with the exception of the Airbags relief split, just stitched a little differently. I'm wondering if the leather seats are more like the GTP stlyle seats. I think they have different bolstering altogether. Can anyone confirm this?As for the driving experience I have to totally agree. I've found the comfort and grip levels from the factory 19's incredible (compared to the 17's). My only criticism of them is the noise.Just curious, is your car an '05 or 06 plate and if it's not too personal a question how much did you pay for it?Big ALPS All you need now is some good quality tint and you set. WOOHOO my 300th post in only three years. No one's gunna accuse me of being a post wh0re HAHA. Edited 30/04/06 01:40 AM by cooltint
