I did see some one fit an 600x300x80 on here. It was mounted VL style,

really low.

you could fit that in! the only hastle is moving the Air Con pipe from the condenser.

You would have to mount it the other way, cut as much out of the bar (not spoiler) as possible. Oh also custom IC pipe to plenum.

It would be a big job, and if you dont like the thought of cutting your car up! I suggest not to do it!

but if you're like me and don't care, go ahead.

If any one else has any pics of this style IC plpease post, I'm interested to

Now that you cut the front bar I dont think you would pass the pits without having all the cut metal replaced.

The aircond pipes are the biggest hindrance in getting the intercooler behind the bar. I am trying to work out a simple solution to try and get this size cooler and even the 100mm one behind the front bar with maybe cutting a bit of the lip off on the back of the bar and getting the aircon pipes out of the way.

BTW where did you run the pipes into the engine bay. Any chance of some photos of the turbo plumbing

How about a top view photo to show how much of the front bar was cut.

Yours was the one I remember seeing a while back!

how do you go with gutters, driveways ect.?

looks tuff! no stealth now

What core did you use?

Has any one got any pics of Adams car when he put the other cooler on it! He had a 600x300mm didn't he?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was tossing up whether to just buy a Hybrid kit off the net for $700 with a 450mm core or try and fit this sucker in.

I must admit it looks good taking up all the space, but looks like a biatch to fit!

Will take a trip down to my engineer this week and see what he would charge me to fit it.

Rob.

Err if any1 has the link for when I did it originaly then can you post it coz I dont know were it is.

I do get some scraping round driveways when exiting only (depending on angle of exit and steepness of driveway).

insuranse dont know about it :kissmy:.

Looks I get heaps and some people are just amazed it can fit and how it looks as u can see. I tried to put it behind the bar but had 2 redo the AC piping so I decided 2 cut. Its a shame though.

Piping isnt the best. Pipes run from the original then connects 2 ic and then it runs around the back of the ic and connects with the standard piping. It does lose lil power but ill eventually change it. But the advantage of this is u have room to run the pipes without other mods.

Stealth is 4 people that dont want 2 be noticed. IE its boring. with the car we have we should be noticed. well dats my opinion. Ive never had negative attention from cops, etc.

Brand I dont know got it of 1 of my mates and he has a few of them.

If u need more pics just ask or if your in sydney u probs c me sumwere

Would it be possible to fit the cooler angled back or forward to take some of the height out of it? seems to be all the rage in the jap drift scene and let them fit huge cores in smaller spaces..... :kissmy:....give you more surface area for the same size cooler too....
