Heya guys, been long time since I popped in here, been working like a madman to get the cash flowing and getting my car running to its peak (before any bolt-ons or internals are in the picture)

Everything is looking great for now, car running awsome (for stock) and before rims or any performance gear is put onto it, im wanting to put the protection stage into the car. I visisted Wagga Boat and Sports Centre (they install this brand of alarm) and what I can read in the info on the pamphlet it really does sound like a not bad system...

Immobilisation

Piezo Shock Sensor

Ultrasonic or Microwave Movement Sensor

Visual Alarm Feature

Backup Battery Siren

8 Sector Automatic Diagnostic System

Panic Feature

Anti Hijack

2 Stage Unlocking

Dome Light Activation

Perimiter Lighting

Auto Rearm & Lock

Total Closure

$550 Installed

They can also make my 2 button lock/unlock key (for those who know the Expensive Daewoo keys) be the alarm activation/de-activation device.

When I left the place, there was a VK Calais 5.0L pull up out the front, and he might have had the same alarm fitted, as then when I pulled away and drove off, went straight past his car in 1st at about 3500rpm then change to 2nd (not flogging, just slowly cruised to 3500) I heard his alarm go off (my car VS SS with 3" exaust from cat back) and I couldnt believe how sensitive it was...

Has anyone here had/used an Immobalarm system on thier/a car?

Says on the pamphlet it has a 3yr warranty so that's pretty damn good (can see somone from my hometown running up my ass or into my side before that, wild drivers over in temora...

So any comments also on any other alarm systems that would be in the same area of priceline would also be awsome (no need to travel from wagga to have this one installed, so theres another bonus).

Thanks guys

Immobilisation is the thing you want, anything else additional doesn't really stop thieves as most people when they hear an alarm simply say "bloody alarm, turn it off" rather than see what the problem is, especially if you alarm is sensitive enough that it goes off without someone actually breaking into the car...
