Life will go on, if you think that you can not be tracked already think again. Right now it's a little more complex, but surely most people here have heard of the ATO data mining currently going on with LCT (luxury car tax) if not google it...

The idea that this card is non compulsory is the biggest load of :laughing: ever, your going to have to get one. But the odds are your data will never be matched up and end up with men in dark sunglasses following you, as bureaucrats (which will control the whole process) have a saying, "I'll get onto that right after my coffee break".

Bring it on I say.......

I lived in Hong Kong for 10 years, and had one there...... It was a great way to cut out all the fraud, and identity theft......

It also ensured that only CITIZENS / RESIDENTS could hold a job....... thus helping unemployment.....

there are lots of good reasons FOR & AGAINST the card, but, having lived with one overseas, I've seen how convenient it can make life become....
