Fonzy is the guy that sells them and they all say he is great to deal with so maybe try ringing him at ripshift and have a chat.

Will be in the car when I get it back in a couple of weeks with the tougher engine.I know a couple of others on here have got the RIP - Pete (DRKXR6) had one fitted about a month ago - might be worth PM'ing him and seeing how he is going now after a few kms...Cheers,Ben. I can never go back! They are suppose to get real smooth by 1300kms but mine is smooth already! I didn't buy it for racing, I bought it for daily comfort! You wont be dissapointed! Try stay away from the herrod one's, there pretty sh*t I have drove a car with it! Hope this helps!

I do however have Tranzmax Z in her, courtesy of F6_Tornado. I suspect this helps with the general shifting in it's self. Maybe try this first?? Oh Hiddeous, I am actually quite easy on the box 98% of the time.. it's the 2% that really hurts it though!!!!!! My diff is crying, not the box.. I had Transmax Z put in when I got the Edit done, and I agree - it's the manual trans *beep*!gogo and DRKXR6, I really appreciate the input. If you have anything further to add, please do!lol, I think the only thing that put me off about the Rip Shift at first was the company webpage. I was glad to see the actual box that the shifter comes in at least had a Ford on it!Hmmm, Rip Shift...

I'll be sure to post anything new.←Our short throw shifter, I believe, is right up there with any of them! I have tried them all and there is some that are good and some that are pretty damn ordinary. Our shifter costs $310 outright and if there is any genuine reason why it is unsatisfactory I will give a refund. I have got one in my XR8 with a T56 and one in my XR6Turbo ute with a T56 and I dont miss a gear.
