Posted 26/04/06 02:36 AM Share Posted 26/04/06 02:36 AM I'd guess mines pretty close to no major warranty work.So far the only time I've taken my car in for warranty work was when the front right foggie blew, and I took it into ford as they said they'd give me a new bulb under warranty. My other ford never had any warranty work done on it either, and my wifes car is still going strong (ford as well), so fords which do work properly from the factory do exist.I know there are those out there with lemons, but I'd say a good percentage of cars which are lemons are made that way by the dealer not fixing things or the dealer screwing up a service, once again not something directly attributed to the car. At the end of the day its all good and well to think its acceptable to spend $40,000 + on a car and put up with faults but do you put up with your new Plasma TV if it has lines going thru it, or a new leather lounge if it has marks on the leather? I doubt it. I know cars are one of the most techinical things on the planet that we use in our daily lives but at the same time your paying big dollars for that technology. Theres also the factor that some companys can get it right, so why not all?←Hi, I would be interested to know the company.I have had my M11 turbo for a year now 11,000 on the clock and had no problems.Even modded to 303rw. I am more than happy with my bang for buck.

Steering racks anyone, oil burners anyone?? It's a worthy subject. Yes, we know some are unhappy with the product. If you get a faulty part or product of any kind, you take it back and either expect it to be repaired, replaced or get your money back. Why is a car no different??A fully loaded F6 can send you near $100K. Why should this car, irrespect of it's cost not be up to a standard where the brakes don't squeel, the diff doesn't clunk or the steering make noises?? Is it too much to ask of our local producers? BMW sent there new M3 around there test track. An incredibly demanding test circut. Within 3 laps the exhaust had a rattle, so they completely redesigned it. I went for three laps around Wanneroo and the exhaust melted my rear bar from swinging side to side. It's still not fixed and Ford said " Gee, that's strange, but I can't see how it happened. " Clicky steering rack has a TSB out for it. The rack bolts need some washers or spacers or something put into it. If they retighten the bolts ( As they come loose ) you have to pay for it. ( $$ ) If you ask for the TSB, it's warrenty. Go Figure..
