Also interested,

The car must not have anything done to it at service time other then whats listed in the book, so NO warranty work what so ever...

My Family have had 2 AU's 3 BA's and 1 Territory and all 6 of them have had a considerable amount of warranty work done, with the territory being the worse (complete motor replacement).

hey

I have a 2005 ba mk2 ute xr6 turbo and I have never let the dealers touch it. Nothing wrong yet, but I have only done 6000km thou. The steering sometimes makes a ticking noise near the steering wheel when changing direction, but I will live will it rather than take it to a dealer.

I agree,

I appreciate that some have issues with their vehicles major and minor, but this thread serves no purpose whatsoever.

I love my machine. If you don't love yours, take the advice above.

True, but it does wear a bit thin after a while.

Far as im concerned hes just trying to prove a point..

At the end of the day its all good and well to think its acceptable to spend $40,000 + on a car and put up with faults but do you put up with your new Plasma TV if it has lines going thru it, or a new leather lounge if it has marks on the leather? I doubt it. I know cars are one of the most techinical things on the planet that we use in our daily lives but at the same time your paying big dollars for that technology. Theres also the factor that some companys can get it right, so why not all?
