must have been tough to go around the track at night and in the wet. a big double whammy there.

Yeah, my first set of laps was semi dry, would have been ok weather if it stayed like that all night.. Night time had braking markers muddled, then with continued rain, braking marks changed every time out.

Barbagello is pretty grippy when wet if you go outside the racing line. not the shortest route around, but more traction.

as a note. In the dry, with 40rwkw les, I was getting 120kph thru the esses. In the wet, with more grunt I couln't get more than 100kph thru them. Corner speed was down alot, as was the point you could power out.

Previously I was gassing it mid apex, on boost and slingshot out the corner. Last night I had to coast thru the corners, then gas it when I was thru and straight and feed the throttle on. Good for the senses to get it out in the wet though, something different.

I'm on the lookout for a dry session in the day. If anyone signs up for one and I still have the barge after seeing the EVO9 out last night, give me a holler..

From memory I finished 18 out of 35. Majority of the field were either AWD or R-Spec equipped. I think I finished in front of one R33 GTR.

Darkness aint that great for camera, but what are we to do?? My still shots from the stands are rubbish!.

I do have some small footage of me toasting an 11 second Magna before he spun infront of me.. I'll try and dig that out in the next couple days..

Just goes to show how a car that's quick at the drags behaves at the circuit. He cooked his brakes during the period the instructors were in the car, which weren't even considered 'hot' laps. I think he left after the 2nd sprint session

Throw in a couple of corners and it really sorts out the good cars from the not so good ones. Imagine if it was dry
