The plan was to get an edit plus the drilled injectors, as well as that I was also considering changing the valve springs.. Anyways off came the rocker cover and to our surprise my car was running the thicker heavy duty F6 springs no need change them then.Dave put the car up on the dyno for a stock run 1st up and it made 197rwkw with a very linear and smooth power progression, much smoother than a BA in stock trim.. Next step was the injectors so in they went, and then started the process.. Dave was very persistent and helpful.. he even let me stay in the workshop the whole time explaining every aspect of the tuning process to me, all I can is a big thanks to Dave for putting up with my constant questions! After about 12 runs on the dyno Simon and Dave managed 271rwkw.. with a massive increase in mid-range power.. the difference is about 100rwkw in a few places..Anyway the time came to give it a good test and all I can say is that the mid-range surge is unbelieable! The car was actually wheel spinning into 4th gear that's with just above half throttle from about 80kmph.. The drivablity is excellent, very smooth idle and just drives around like stock, the mrs wont even realise what ive done! A big thanks goes to simon and dave who made sure the tune was perfect regarding air\fuel and power delivery.. I dont think ive spent so little money for such a result.. im still trying to get to grips on when I can open it up a little, the car just takes off like a rocket!Ill post the dyno sheets later and u guys can tell me what u thinkRegardsMark

asromanut Member 50 Member For: 21y 5m 12d Location: Melbourne Posted 22/04/06 02:23 AM Author Share Posted 22/04/06 02:23 AM that drop is attributed to the stall coverter of the ZF, if u full throttle at about that point it shifts back down to 3rd. you cant fell it at all on the road though, also dave saw that it was making big power, so dave pulled a little boost out then brings it back in again a little later on, once the software to optimise the stall converter and shift points becomes available simon said he can tune the even more and getter better mid range and top end power. ps, the air/fuel graphs are in lambda.. ill post them up a bit laterregardsMark

Just keen on having a look what happens with the afr's at the same point of the power drop. do you have a boost graph as well?
