From what I have read it appears the first place to start mods is the auto trans. I plan to get a CAPA Flasher which seems to have a positive affect on the trans. So I thought I would try to reduce the heat level.I am looking at fitting a Davis Craig trans cooler or is the genuine Ford unit OK?The most logical position to fit it is directly behind the main (upper) grille. I don't what to have to add fans and switches etc. Do you feel that this position would be OK, and would you need add some trans oil to maintain correct levels and if so how?Any advise will be appreciated! But I did try the search fuction and ya I did find some threads that started on the topic of trans coolers. But unfortuneatly they seemed to go off the topic at hand and therefore never really answered the question! If you could help point me in the right direction it would be a great help! Seeing as most the heat is generated at bugger all car speed I'd suggest an electric fan!Russ
