I had this problem in my BA XR8 & it was the exhaust hitting the rear suspension on mainly left hand corners. The problem was never fixed up to the time of getting rid of the car. Steering wise it always had some sort of shimmy even from new which was put down to tyres being out of round. I will be taking great interest in checking my car for some of your complaints on quality when I pick mine up. It's appears that Ford quality control is still RS. Some of the other new ones were even more damaged and when I went back to the dealer we looked at his current stock of new cars on the showroom floor and there all damaged as well.I will start a new topic on this as it appears to be inherant on the BF's. A bit P^%&&*( off to be honest. Not sure why it needs 4 attempts.

Most are only light scratches behind the red brake light lens.

Sounds weird, unless they are stress fractures. This can be caused by an incorrect mix in the resin being subject to extremes in temperatures. I dont think its Ford, I think its the supllier and there quality control being up to poo.

I've looked at other cars and none seem to have it. Another thing to get them to look at.
