Just thought I'd share with you my excitement on finally getting my car finished.

My mission was to up spec the phoon to a level that they should come out of the factory with (IMHO).

The major upgrades I have done are as follows:

IMG_5957.JPG

add 2 x 7" LCD TFT screens to the headrests and connect an Xbox to them and the ICC

(then spend 6 months getting rid of the aux whine that came with plugging in to the aux audio :pinch: I'm happy to say that there is now NO WHINE!!)

Getting the screens installed required me to drive to no less than 6 auto upholsterers to get quotes with all but one of them saying "nah man, the screens are way too big for those headrests  . The head rests are now a fair bit bulkier at the back than factory but I don't think they look too bad?? any comments here???

You cant see it in the pic but the xbox turns on by a button in the center console. The controller is also in the center console.

After getting the visuals right I found myself requiring a little more bass in my movies that the factory 8" sub was giving me. I read quite a few threads on upgrades for the 8" but in the end I decided that you need more inches and lots of power if you really want bass :spoton:

After visiting the guys at ASL for an ICC line level mod, I went to work on a custom box for 2 x 10" 250WRMS dual coil sub woofers with a custom face plate to keep the boot looking as factory as possible. They subs are being driven by a 500WRMS amp. For the main speakers to keep up with the additional volume requirements I installed a 4 x 100WRMS digital amp under the front passenger seat.

This section of the project took over 60 hours to do with 2 people working on her. A lot of that time was making the sub box and face plate

With the interior sorted, I needed to give the car a little extra GO. This was done by getting a 3.5" SS Xforce exhaust put on and then giving the car to the wog to edit her up for me :msm:

There is probably other things that I've missed that ill add when I remember what I've done (its been a 6 month project and I lost my mind years ago  )

but so you can see the car I've done this too, here she is:

If your thinking about doing any of these mods, I've now got a few months of R&D that I'm more than willing to share :spoton:

Excellent work, and a lot of perseverence to get what you want.

Looks like a very well rounded result, and very lucky rear seat passengers.

I'm sure you' and your passengers will enjoy it.

Well done.
