Sorry to hear about your girlfriends Grandmother, hope she had a fulfilled life.

Mate.....You guys are lucky by the looks of it. Could have become really ugly. Most important thing is you and your girlfriend are alright :stirthepot:

Sorry to see / hear about it...... Know how you feel.... I did similar about 2 months ago..... and my car is still not 100% finished.....

At least the two of you are OK.... that's what matters..... the car can be fixed, so, that's cool.......

Firstly, good to hear you and your GF are fine, that's always the most important thing.

Cars and all material sh*t can be replaced, now in saying this I gotta say, no T should come to grief in any way, but like a broken record, it could have been a hell of a lot worse.

Just think how that beast is gonna feel when you jump back in after some time away, we won't see any posts for a while, you'll be drivin and drivin... damn we'll have to organise a cruise to find ya man.

thanks for the kind words people! got the rough quote today... $6500 and that's without looking at what could be wrong with underneath the car :spoton: thank christ for insurance! When Quickfit changed my wheel, there was a pretty nasty dent in the suspension arm thingy, so I will see what that adds to the total repaid bill... I guess my next mod will be a lift kit and mud train tyres :crybaby:

And yeah, it was near the GDE roadworks. Dust, gravel, all kinds of sh*t thrown up on the road. But at the end of the day, I knew road works were in the area, and I should have been more careful. I guess I didn't realise that the dirt etc was that far down towards the intersection... road works are probably a good 300m for anyone not familiar. Regardless of anything else, at the end of the day I was more at fault!!

As said before, it could have been a lot worse!! even though I wasn't speeding, it still could have been worse.

I gotta take it in for the assesor to come look tomorrow so I will know more then...

For now, I gotta cop it sweet and swallow my pride!! Just goes to prove that accidents can happen to anyone!!
