JimmyXR6T04 Member 1,299 Member For: 19y 6m 16d Location: Canberra Posted 18/04/06 12:55 PM Author Share Posted 18/04/06 12:55 PM thanks for the kind words people! got the rough quote today... $6500 and that's without looking at what could be wrong with underneath the car thank christ for insurance! When Quickfit changed my wheel, there was a pretty nasty dent in the suspension arm thingy, so I will see what that adds to the total repaid bill... I guess my next mod will be a lift kit and mud train tyres And yeah, it was near the GDE roadworks. Dust, gravel, all kinds of sh*t thrown up on the road. But at the end of the day, I knew road works were in the area, and I should have been more careful. I guess I didn't realise that the dirt etc was that far down towards the intersection... road works are probably a good 300m for anyone not familiar. Regardless of anything else, at the end of the day I was more at fault!! As said before, it could have been a lot worse!! even though I wasn't speeding, it still could have been worse. I gotta take it in for the assesor to come look tomorrow so I will know more then... For now, I gotta cop it sweet and swallow my pride!! Just goes to prove that accidents can happen to anyone!!
