Be interesting to see what time it does down the qrt....I'd say its a chop, back of the motor vanishes into the plenum chamber (the panel below the windscreen) and that VL has two power steering reservoirs...Would be cool though! Normal practice in a N/S engine configuration is to put the engine in line with the centre of the engine bay. That engine is sitting to the left by about 40mm.
