Not good mate.

Although, look on the bright side, you were going to freshen the thing up anyway - one Atomic bottom end should do it.

And then you wind up way more power!

Damn Ian, When you called me I was in shock, seeing it hoisted onto the tow truck brough tears to my eyes. I could only imagine what you and Anita are going through. Hope GOLDIE comes back stronger then ever, I'm sure you will do a great job on it, this time bulletproof and tougher then ever. :msm::laughing:

Worst of luck and how it happened? :kissmy: I'm shocked. Last time I shift from 4th to 2nd approaching that thing :gooff:

Mate, only if you called me a little earlier, 'AZUL" is no "GOLDIE" but I would have filled in as it was, well cleaner then usual, polished it just yesteday...

See you on Monday at the Go Karts, and here's hoping you can enjoy the day despite what's happened.

Hope GOLDIE is back together in no time.

Just two pic's of the block. :gooff:

Hrmm number 2 cylinder... bottom of the pot... punched out on the power stroke I would imagine. Is it possible the rod came away from the crank just before it happened? I guess you will have it in bits n find out soon enough. You should be able to tell exactly what happened from all the bits you collect.

Geez Ian , that's nasty :gooff: No sight worse than your ride being pulled up on to the back of the truck :gooff:

Anyway, as already said it is as good ann opportunity as any for a beefy bottom end and to dial up some more of that lovely power :gooff:

Good luck with it all and hope Goldie is back on the road real soon

I am in shock,

Headlines read Goldie dies on good friday, am patiently waiting to see whether

Goldie will be resurrected in a couple of days just as Jesus was.

I guess you must have faith and hopefully Goldie will be back on the road on easter monday. Or maybe just a little later.

Good luck mate.

Sorry to hear about this, and the circumstances.

It's just a matter of time with these engines when quite a few mods are in place. Cylinder wall between 1 & 2 is the most suspect with the BA's.

Out of every mishap there becomes an opportunity, so I'm sure Goldie MK2 will reappear better than ever.
