Hi All,

The New Focus brochures are out on the Ford AU website, to save you hunting through the Ford website which requires both Flash and some patience I've stored them over on the Ford XR5 Turbo community site.

There is also a fantastic video available, its a little corny and requires you to install a proprietary java player but works none the less. Definately worth checking out.

Specs & Options

Color & Trim

Ford Focus XR5 Turbo Film - very nice ;)

With the cars being distributed around AU and details finally it's time to get excited. :spoton:

Cheers,

Miyagi

Still can't work out why the XR5 get aux gauges but ours dont?

I don't think Ford new what they were getting themselves into when they released our XR6, it could have been a flop as much as a success. Fortunately it was succsessful which means more goodies for the next all new model, since now they know what its all about!

I dont know about that. Wasnt the XR5 engineered in Germany? Have a look over at www.ford.de. Looks like they just changed the badging to me. A tempting 'downgrade' now that petrol prices are on the rise.

Looks pretty good. 0-100 claimed 6.8 which is OK. I imagine it would be a good drive.

Yes, it is German and runs the Volvo motor.

And I recon you could drop that time a fair bit with a few tweeks.

One of each in the garage would be sweet, the 6 for crusin the 5 for goin to the shops......

I am pretty sure the Edit works on the Turbo Focus too! Imagine if the edit could get it up to about 200 FWKW, that you be pretty insane in a front wheel drive car! HEHE

The XR5 was predominantly developed by the Team RS boys from Essex in the UK.

I'd like to think it's more an upgrade for the 'other' car than a replacement for the XR6T... imagine a XR5T and XR6T / Phoon in the garage together... it'd be lovely! :pooh::pooh:
