I am need of the FPV gauge holder for my car. I need a VIN/ or a way to get one from a dealer.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe it would be easy for me to possibly meet someone during their lunch hour and pop into a dealer and pick up the housing.

I will make sure it is worth your time.

FTG Salvage in Melbourne have a number of them for sale.

You can't copy the VIN off cars in a lot any more as they now check to see if that FPV has been listed as sold.

PS. If you do get someone's VIN make sure its a MKII or BF, they won't sell you a gauge holder for a BA MK I.

Gees - Ford are missing out on sales here arnt they?

Ford used to have a book - the RS Parts Book - listed all the modification parts for Escorts, Cortinas etc to make them just like a works rally car, and you could order them, they actually stocked the stuff! The books told you what bits you needed to go with the other parts, and it was all open.

I ordered some strut tops for my Bilstein struts for my 1969 Escort about 10 years ago - and they had them!

You would think that you could buy any of the parts from a parts department to make a whole car if you wanted to. (It would cost a fortune).

Do they really think that keeping an FPV gauge holder exclusive will raise the value /price of FPV cars? Is a 2005 XR6T with a Typhoon holder worth more than a 2005 XR6T with an SS inductions one?
