Coming home from the Pete Murray Concert the other night, we cruised through an intersection on a green light and a d/head VW driver coming from the opposite direction decided to turn in front of us and we hit him at 60 kph. There were 5 of us in the car and we all coped some injuries of some form. I was half cut after a few bourbons in the front passenger seat and I wore the brunt of the force. I coped a broken collar bone, fractured verterbrea in my spine, ruptured my adrenal gland which caused internal bleeding plus a mass war wound from the seat belt. Spent 5 days in hospital and they stuck me in the grandpa ward, yay. At least some of the nurses were cute.

To the SA boys, I might have to skip that anzac day cruise now.

Here's a pic of my EB. What you can't see is that my seat had broken mounts underneath and the seat belt had tore almost all the way through. The force rolled the Vdub.

that's a shame mate.

I loved my EB XR8, and would have been devastated if it was written off. The unfortunate thing is that the insurance co will not feel for you - and pay you a basic amount for your prized possession.

Hope you heal up soon.

Bad luck mate, sorry to hear this tale. Sound like shocking injuries. wonder why on earth the VW fella crossed in front of you. :pinch:

I wonder if the world would be a slightly safer place if there were more roundabouts. sure, u can still get bingles on them, but I dont think u get crashes like this one.

The impact doesn't look that great until you see the buckle across the roofline. Must have been a good shunt. Any injuries to the co.ck in the VW... apart from being hit by a tyre iron a few times!

Obviously the crash was not big enough to take your mind of sex you dirty b@stard :diggit:
