I ran the 12.2 on the standard auto with the standard Stall converter.

We were running about 340rwkw at 14 psi at the time but the auto was not changing properly from 2 - 3 and felt like it was slipping in 3rd. I also wheelspun for about 50 odd metres. The car previously ran a best terminal speed of 117mph back when I had 305 rwkw (when the auto felt better!)

The car is not very impressive at the moment, running in the bottom end and Jim will not given me more than a de-tuned 6 psi 260 rwkw to play with.

He knows that I will just end up breaking the auto! :(

117mph would be 305rwkw's, probably closer to 285rwkw's. A 300rwkw auto T should be running 120mph. :kissmy:

Geea,

Like I said, I am looking forward to getting the power to the ground as the auto was not happy to deliver the goods and the stock Dunlops screem to hang onto the road ...

What sort of Fuel pump setup do you run in your car ?

with most recent tune of 273rwkw

60'     2.152

660'   8.405

ET    12.833

MPH 111.48

will post the slips tomorrow.

The time and mph aren't too bad. I'd think that 273rwkw's should be making 114-115mph though.

If you can get your 60' down below 2.0 you'll be running 12.5's.

As long as your having fun it's all good. :k24t:

Geea. :glad:

I'VE noticed with extreme f6 sig has 400rwkw's & ran 114mph and here you say for the same mph you need only 273rwks..how's that work?

I think u beter read my sig a little better mate, The F6 with 400 rwkw runs a 124 MPH...

My XR6T with 270 rwkw's ran 114 :k24t: ... read it again its at the bottom of this post :k24t:

The auto XR6T's have 1000's of runs and with all these runs we're able to gauge what sort of power will generate waht sort of MPH. The manuals haven't had naywhere near the same amount of runs and there haven't really been any sort of bench marks for mph/rwkw's. This no doubt will change soon as more and more manuals run.

Geea. :k24t:

Geeas right guys, There have been XR6T's going down the track for a couple of years now and its pretty much same ol same ol.

240 ish rwkw's will get you a 12.7 to 12.8 @110 ish

260 rwkw's will get you 12.6 12.5 @ 112 ish

280 rwkw's will get you 12.2 to 12.4 ! 114 to 116 ish

300 rwkw's usually 12.1 to 11.9 @ around 116 to 118.

Alot of it depends on grip on the et but usually these MPH's are pretty much on the money.

If you want to use Dunlop's shoot either Geea (12.0) I think or Milz (11.91) a PM both have run 11's(Or close to 11's) on Dunlops and done around 118 to 119 mph.

If you have some decent rubber you should be able to beat those times ive listed as the testing with dunlops most of those times and mph will come with 2.0 to 2.1 60ft's.

But besides all that, the most important thing is... did u have fun?

I have a 2lt surge tank mounted on the rail just infront of the firewall. There is a Bosch fuel pump attached to it.

Simon is right. Way back in the darkages my old car had 280rwkw's and was running 12.2@115 on factroy Dunlops with a best 60' of 1.9x My current car has a best of 11.999 @121.96 with a 2.039 60' on the Dunlops. That run was one of my happiest moments. :k24t:
