with most recent tune of 273rwkw

60'    2.152

660'  8.405

ET    12.833

MPH 111.48

will post the slips tomorrow.

The time and mph aren't too bad. I'd think that 273rwkw's should be making 114-115mph though.

If you can get your 60' down below 2.0 you'll be running 12.5's.

As long as your having fun it's all good. :msm:

I am having a ball!

I was also expecting a better MPH for 273rwkw :pinch: I am finding the car harder to launch than I thought. It seems like stalling it to 2100 isn't enough and 2200 wheelspin?

On another note, I am sick and tired of complaining to the various tuners here in Sydney that they just don't do good enough edit tuning and I am not going to waste my time and $ anymore. There was another guy there on the night with an APS phase 2 kit plus valve springs/actuator/PWR I/C only running 110mph. WTF. He was running a unichip but still had over 280rwkw. He should have a faster mph?

Only one solution I can come up with now to be competitive.....

BVW2 here I come! I will be giving HPF a call this week to schedule my car in for a few days. valve springs, actuator, fuel pump, 15 psi (maybe a trip to Kewish time permitting) and then I should see some competitive times down the 1/4 mile. I can't wait to bring the car back to Sydney and see what it will run.

Good to see you cracked a 12 mate :pinch:

A 12.8 is not that bad for 270 rwklw and like Craig said get your 60ft down to a 2.0 and there's a 12.5-12.6 there but like you said wait till Hpf get hold of it :pinch:

2200rpm will generate wheelspin in most cars with a stock stall.

I'd talk to Rob at HPF and tell them that Dave needs to work on the auto aswell. If you organise it now you should be able to get both sorted whilst down here.

I'VE noticed with extreme f6 sig has 400rwkw's & ran 114mph and here you say for the same mph you need only 273rwks..how's that work?

Also consider the rubber you are using for the runs. Some decent rubber, semi's or not will help.

Because a manual Typhoon has different gearing and I takes more power to to run quick times.

With 260rwkw's I've managed a best of 113.38MPH in my ute on Dunlop SP3000A's. However my quickest ET of 12.89 was ran on 110.27MPH.
