Sounds like someone has been feeding you Entertaining though ←ask a radiator joint about stray currant.usualy comes from a bad earth on one or more eletrical curcuits.any more than .5 volts can be a problem.spoke to our radiator suplier about a stock BA xr8 which had gon through 5 radiators.fixed by fittin a copper core radiator and running earth straps from the radiator to the chassis. The phenomenon you are thinking of is similar to the way a battery operates, and is caused by 2 different metals in an electrolyte causing erosion (this also can happen on a boat).Has nothing to do with electrical circuits nearby... and doesnt necessarily get fixed by an earth strap. The best way is to either change the type of metal used (ie same metal all the way through) or by fitting a saccrifical annode
