Just had the TPS replaced for the second time since Christmas.

Dealer said we don't get many of these go faulty. Yours in Very, Very, rare that a second one faults. This time they snapped the bolts in the throttle body that hold it on. I had to be driven home then picked up to collect the car after the fix.

Anyone else had this fault.

I can't wait until I'm out of warranty and have to pay for to have this fixewd each time.

RARE!??!

I have had 6 since I had the car, they go well for a few weeks then it all starts again. :sleepystuff:

I think I might need the throttle pedal one changed next, just had the revised TPS installed last monday, and this morning on startup, you guessed it, as soon as reverse was engaged it idled like a drunken donkey and stalled.

There has to be something screwie with either the electrics in the car or another component is causing the problem. As everyone is not having the problem, the chances of having 6 go is no coincidence. :tease:

Gone are days of real diagnostic mechanics, replaced by "the computer says to replace this bit" by a Factory Trained Technician apprentice :spit:

I think the common ground is that they are all FRAUDS!

I love my car and the enjoyment it gives me, but these little niggly sh1tty problems are always popping up.; FFS I can't enjoy the car for longer than 2 weeks before another issue has reared it's ugly head.

Had the entire accelerator assembly replaced today, not sure if it's related or not though. :pinch:
