I would run it in first then mod after 3000km... that way you ensure everything is settled and they do their checks and then you are all set to go. You wouldnt wanna edit now and find a weak spot early on.

edit now.... mine was done with 900km on the clock :gooff: the tuner now says my car is a freak and just wants to play... could it be because of the run in prcedure?? who knows... but my car certainly did not suffer from the early tune, and now it just likes to haul a$$ :gooff:

car you mean??... just a mk11 6 speed manual... with minimal mods.... now at 302.rwkw @ 12psi... was advised theres more in it but I dont want to go higher. Wasnt meaning that it hauls a$$ when compared to most (yours etc)... just that it likes to play and holds boost really well.

I to have a BA Mkii Six Speed manual, and I am looking at the same power levels as you Jet Ute. I am interested in what you have done and if not to personel a rough cost. I am looking at a stage three Powerchip tune with appropiate mods. any info is always appreciated.

hey mate,

I have 2nd cai

injectors (eugene ones)

3.5" metal cat

centre muffler removed and replaced with hot dogs

the edit

k & n filter

intercooler

custom tune

total cost is about $3000-$3200

I did have to buy a new clutch and that cost $1300 which is a cost on top of the above.

Cheers mate, I had all the above in mind, was not sure about the clutch. On return from overseas I think more power is definately on the cards.
