The flutter noise comes from the turbo through the airfilter. If you have a aftermarket BOV from the standard Bosch ones and it still makes the flutter noise, it can mean the spring is set to hard or the BOV is to small for the boost the car is making.I removed the cone on my FG and it made the spool noise in the turbo sound alot louder.
