Well done to Nizpro, and the work done by Simon & Dave.

It is interesting that Nizpro were the first to crack the 11s in the auto (on Nittos in their gold car with a lot less power a few years ago), and now the manual, so it’s a good double.

It’s a good first effort, as this was the first run down Calder since swapping over to the 6-speed manual from the auto.

I don’t know if Simon has the rip shift in the ute, as it is a means of getting the faster changes, nor the potential for improvement in times with that level of power.

I understand the Ute is running the Nizpro Stage 4 kit, which is the Cobra kit with Edit, plus larger turbo than standard.

Is it a 5 speed or 6 speed? What diff ratio?

Nice mph.

5 Speed what planet are you on?

Its a bit early for him I think.. :spoton:

BCL mentions it's a 6psd in his post, although the ratio question is a good one. The fact the auto got changed out, the ratio either got left alone or replaced, and I doubt a 3.73 would have gone back in??

Oh, when's BCLs' car going to run down the strip for us. If there is only going to 1 manual sedan to run a 10, it's his.

Ford 6 speed manual; it's a BA still got the 3.46, so maybe no need to change into 5th, which can make a noticeable difference. It should probably get to around 130-135mph at 6500 revs in 4th, (but beyond maximum torque point) so you get caught having to make the decision of whether or not to change up or not. If you decide to change up in the last 30 metres it stuffs up the time and the MPH.

My car will go down Calder after Simon gets the Edit working with it.

MPH should be good, how it launches may be another matter.
