Posted 07/04/06 01:37 PM Share Posted 07/04/06 01:37 PM Bottom line based on a very small set of data (which means unreliable), is that the impact of changing gears in the manual is significantly greater than just the time taken to change. We all know that this is ture, but it is the degree that is interesting...Ok... one of my very best friends is just like you... smart as fu*k... I struggle at times to understand him too... so it's probably not the Benglish... I think I only understand 'truckglish' being a truck driver and all... SPIKO Gold Donating Members 1,924 Member For: 19y 9m 4d Gender: Male Posted 07/04/06 09:59 PM Share Posted 07/04/06 09:59 PM Well Simon from Nizpro went a 11.91 @124 mph with a 2.0 60 ft in his XR6T manual ute tonight, Then bent the diff housing But there we have it, an 11 second manual.←Congratzzzzzz SimonAWESOME effort, alot of work and and pioneering involved you deserve this record! 10 sec know only .91 away lower your sixty address your rear end issues and run a full slick. You will need around 1.5 60" for a 10 in a manual you have the power just get it to the ground! you will also need around 135mph so turn the boost up or do the rear end ratio's accordingly. Good luck.Spiro
philldub Member 81 Member For: 20y 3m 27d Posted 07/04/06 10:08 PM Share Posted 07/04/06 10:08 PM I spoke with dave from Nizpro last night its makes around the 418kw mark and as Its driven every day.The funny part is its gots the same power as when it ran 11.01 @ 131 mph with an auto so this would be the first time some one has done a direct comparasome in the same car and just swapped from auto to manual.Dave and simon were fairly disappointed with the time and also beleive 10s are a long way away with this car and cant think were the mph has gone,it was 12 mph slower at half track and yet picked up 32 mph from half track on wards.the auto only picked up 25 mph from half track. Dave said simon was leaving the line at 7000rpm and it was still bogging off the line.It has had enough grip to bend the diff housing which was off the last pass when simon feathered the clutch that then caused it to axle tramp
