Can we get a topic pinned and locked to keep the current record holders and milestones for the various stages of vehicle with and without Modifications?

If one of the mods could organise it and monitor it, keep a record of proven records and update it as we go, it would be a good place to check back on for those who wish to achieve something with their car.

Starting from the top...

OVERALL HP

Highest HP BA XR6T

Highest HP BA F6

Highest HP BF XR6T

Highest HP BF F6

MODIFIED CLASS

Quickest XR6T 4sp Auto 1/4 mile

Quickest XR6T 6sp Auto 1/4 mile

Quickest XR6T 5sp Manual 1/4 mile

Quickest XR6T 6sp Manual 1/4 mile

Quickest F6 Manual 1/4 mile

Quickest F6 Auto 1/4 mile

UNMODIFIED CLASS

Quickest BA XR6T 5sp Manual 1/4 mile STOCK

Quickest BA XR6T 5sp Manual 1/4 mile STOCK

Quickest BA XR6T Auto 1/4 mile STOCK

Quickest BA F6 1/4 mile STOCK

Quickest BF XR6T 6sp Manual 1/4 mile STOCK

Quickest BF XR6T 6sp Auto 1/4 mile STOCK

Quickest BF F6 6sp Manual 1/4 mile STOCK

Quickest BF F6 6sp Auto 1/4 mile STOCK

EDIT ONLY CLASS

Quickest XR6T 5sp Manual EDIT ONLY

Quickest XR6T 6sp Manual EDIT ONLY

Quickest XR6T Auto EDIT ONLY

Quickest F6 EDIT ONLY

If there are any other classes to be added at a later stage it can be done.

Now we need to fill in the blanks.

What do you think guys?

I'd say stock is same way as they built it from broad meadows, not even a 2nd CAI allowed... I'd say the one exception is replacement parts are allowed (eg replacement tyre's and anything that has been replaced under standard servicing or warranty work) but certainlly no mods outside of that scope which "could" improve power no matter how insignificant.

Just a suggestion...

This is a little different

I'm talking about overall records for the whole of australia... if you collect that data and work out who has done what then great

Just something for people to aim for, instead of someone going "hey everyone whats the quickest F6 with edit only going around?"

Heres an idea Steve, why don't you apply to be our first WA trainee moderator and that way you can drive the project yourself.

You're obviously passionate about the Forum and given that we all financially contribute towards the bulk of the time you spend on here you could be a true "Moderator for the People":fool:

Already put my had up a couple of times but there wasnt any interest as there are already 3297898243 moderators... I'd be happy to do it though if they let me.

Maybe a PM to CJ wouldnt hurt?

Good idea for the quickest times, the HP class wouldn't mean much unless all the cars were run on the same dyno by the same opperator but would be interesting none the less. My definition of stock would be NO performance mods at all including CAI. For edit only I would alow a CAI though.

Great idea!

How to keep track of it though... but would be excellent for us and the new people to the site to be able to fairly quickly get a handle on what is going on where...

I don't mind the different dyno on different day argument but we can't detract from the fact that X car made Y power...

Can we get this going?

Jack :spoton:
