Do you to have a fast cruiser? Auto. DO you want to throw it around the twisties? Auto ;) hehe na unles its BF then go manual.

Im lazy so I like autos, Melbourne traffic doesnt help with manuals either.

Furthermore in a straight line autos beat manuals.

It comes down to personal preferance and type of driving you do.

Autos are good for around town (heavy traffic) towing and drag strip cars

Manuals are good hyway cruisers (better fuel consumption) and are better at the twisty stuff

The type of gearbox aviable to you depends on what series you get

Mki Manual T5, the weakest box in the range

Auto Ion 4 speed, Basic auto, tough but requires mods to handle big power

MkII Manual T56. strong box, can be abit notchy, clutch is the weaklink

Auto Ion 4 speed same as the Mki

BF Manual T56

Auto ZF 6 speed, best box in the range, inteligent learns your driving style, Strength is still abit of an unknown and not much after market support yet

Test drive them all and find out which is best for you, but stay away from the T5

Are you a 'driver' or a 'passenger'?
