Sunoco race fuel, it will make power but you will have to swap out your plugs and cat as these fuels contain lead and with foul both,

you will be able to screw heaps more timing in as well as more boost but you will need to retune (edit) to achieve both of these of course

I've used C16 which also contains lead. I changed my cat for a cat pipe but left the plugs alone and had no dramas. The only reason I removed the cat was to stop it melting. With C16 we were able to take my car from 330rwkw's with 98ron fuel to 380rwkw's with the C16.

Geea.

Since NOS is a gas (N2O) it wouldnt be the same thing, it might just be the brand name added to the bottle. I have seen bottles at supercrap auto with "NOS" on them as fuel additives, but I think its simply use of a brand name.

From the VPW website - who are an Australian retailer for Sonoco fuels.

"Sunoco's highest octane racing fuel was developed specifically for competition engines using nitrous oxide injection systems. Supreme NOS is formulated to achieve a significantly higher specific gravity than other high octane fuels, allowing for maximum fuel flow when used with high volume nitrous oxide systems. The dense nature of this fuel helps guard against lean conditions that can lead to catastrophic engine damage. Due to the high tetraethyl lead (TEL) content, it should not be used in applications utilizing oxygen sensors. Motor Octane 117, Color Light Red, Leaded YES."

The price for a 20 litre drum is $192.55. Unless you had an all out race engine, this fuel would be unwarranted and as stated above contains lead and would be illegal to use anywhere else but at a sanctioned track that has this fuel homologated.

As an aside, I use the Sonoco Supreme Leaded (112 RON) in my dragster with could results. Unfortunately there is no pump fuel available that will handle my engines static compression ratio of 16.3:1
