My Precioussss  is coming out of warranty (end of July) and I'm wondering what I should be checking as a last chance to get things done under warranty.

One fog lamp has stopped working recently, so I have to put her in for that anyway ... :spoton:

Any ideas on where/what I should also be checking?

Thanks in advance.

The best two options is either nrma end of warranty check and they will list the problems for you or an indepent mechanic who could check it over for you and than you go to ford with the list of faults and have them fix it.

Just take it in and trade it on that Rapid GT - let someone else do the worrying :spoton:

Actuall,y mechanically it is pretty hard as you'll probably know just by driving it yourself if anything seems wrong. Who knows, the day after you pay to have it checked it might throw a leg.

However it is always good to have a panel shop check all over it for rust - they know the places to look.

Definately an NRMA inspection, depending on what state your in. This is an absolute must and piece of mind for about $185 I think. They are experts at finding problems and will advise you of what will be covered under warranty. Also consider an extended manufacturer warranty from Ford, only if its wort it. Dont use anyone elses, like Wynn's, as they are not worth the paper they are written on.

Give the guy a break! He noticed it himself ... right after Lea pointed it out.

Expect a letter from ford asking you if you want to extend your warranty they give you a 1, 2 or three year option. I think the three year is $995
