Hey everyone,

I am very very very sorry to say that the BBQ on Saturday will have to be cancelled.

I am most disappointed and upset, but I will not bore anyone with details, but it is due to my ongoing health issues!

NO FAIR!  :spoton:

The timing sux big time, not that there is ever a good time really.

If anyone see's Murphy and his infamous Laws, take a baseball bat to his kneecaps and give me a bell while he's down LOL!

Anyway, I hope everyone has a fantastic cruise on the Sunday, kudos to chipa for a great job of keeping everyone motivated, and for a great run.

I am looking forward to seeing photo's of the big day :)

Cheers, and keep smiling  :censored:

That's no good at all...

BTW I don't tend to see Murphy around much but if I do I'll let you know...

hi Everybody,

Well Cruise is only a couple of days away... ... I am excited..

A couple of points. All common sense, just reminding people.

Its getting cold , so cold weather gear is a must.

We will be cruising on country roads , and they can get slippery, frosty and wet.. safety first

We were planning to have a BBQ during the cruise. This is still planned, however, it is getting cold here, so just want to tell people that just in case its too cold , rainy, or snowy (you never know) , people should also maybe bring food that doesnt need to be cooked.

however by all means come prepared to BBQ, bring food and BBQ stuff...

Anything else you think I have missed? post it up...

Look forward to seeing you guys there... I keep looking at every T I see on the road , and think " Is that someone from the forum.."

Greetings from Taipei!

Just one other thing... please bring a CB radio with you. Aside from the sparkling repartee that makes these cruises so enjoyable, communication on directions and road conditions ahead are extremely important. That way no one gets lost!!!

Anyway, just my TWD$0.02 cents worth (not even AU$0.00083!!)

Still go on the cruise if it's wet, but I might be able to put forwords a wet \ cold weather alternative for the BBQ at the end if the weather is less than pleasent... I'll get back to you tonight...

Hi all

If we get up to the Valley and we find it to cold \ wet ppl are all welcome back to my place (it's fairly close to end of cruise) as we have undercover BBQ area + house right there...

If it's good weather however still have BBQ in the valley...

Looking forwards to Sunday...

For any Sydney folk driving down, I'll be at our usual Mount Annan rally point (Woolies Car Park off Narellan Rd) at 8:45am. Plan to leave there at 9am, head down to Canberra, have lunch and be ready for the cruise at 1pm.

There's some roadworks on the Federal Hwy near Lake George, so as long as we leave on time at 9am we should easily make it.

AND DON'T FORGET YOUR CB RADIO!!!

HI all

On the mater of CB's, I have a spare radio if anyone wants to borrow, I'll bring it Sunday, just grab it from me at Weston.

If the boy's from Sydney want to have lunch on Sunday just post or pm me.

I live on the Federal Highway on the way into Canberra, we could grab some pizza or similar at Dickson.

Gary.
