Driver's/rider's are required to have a valid drivers license or an ANDRA (Australian National Drag Racing Association) Competition Licence, if required. Vehicles must meet basic roadworthy and safety criteria, etc for street meets, a three-point lap sash seat belt (as a minimum), an approved safety helmet, long sleeves and pants, shoes and socks (NO SHORTS, SINGLETS, T-SHIRTS OR THONGS). Refer to the following AHRC Safety/Licence Requirements for sedans and derivatives.and this Quote AHRC SAFETY/LICENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR SEDANS AND DERIVATIVES – MARCH 200511.99 AND SLOWER 11.98 TO 10.99 10.98 TO 9.99Auto Transmission Shield Supercharged cars ONLYDrivers Seat Standard as a minimumHub Caps/ Trims RemovedHelmet RequiredLicense TBALogbook TBALiquid Overflow RequiredProtective Clothing Full Covering, non flammableRoll Bar Not Required, except in open street registered vehicles quicker than 12.99. (radial/bias)A little misleading and sometimes they repeat the same text.....When you roll up at Calder with a stock XR6T what do they require you to do (besides wear a helmet and long sleeves that aren't soaked in petrol?)These two points I was particularly unsure about. Posted 30/03/06 12:26 PM Share Posted 30/03/06 12:26 PM To race at Calder in a stock T all you'll need is a helmet, long pants/sleeves and proper shoes. The car will pass. Make sure you have no loose objects.Geea. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/24422-xr6t-prep-for-drag-racing/#findComment-365533 Share on other sites

I know my mates dad had to fit one to his Stag Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/24422-xr6t-prep-for-drag-racing/#findComment-365625 Share on other sites

I'm hoping to get a low 14 as this seems to be the general expectation....but given my lack of 1/4 mile practice maybe a 15 would be good enough on my first outing.
