Do some good research on your mods before you begin. For starters a cat back exhaust is a waste of money. There are many people here that will gladly help you with advice on many subjects.

Good stuff mate!! You can also prowl the streets of canberra with me! Myself and danno are keen for a cruise some place when both or cars are sorted!

As said by Dan, plan your mods and try and do it all at once, and get it right the first time!! I've chopped and changed, and did bits here and there... ends up costing more and being a right pain in the ass.. especially because canberra has no reputable edit tuners!! Although, I can highly recommend Simon (extremef6), as he has done some great work with my car, dannos, and various other long distance customers!!

Enjoy the ride mate!

Thanks very much for welcoming me.

As you can probably tell this is my first step into the the world of Turbo's so I will be watching (with great interest) and learning.

Geea, you mentioned that a CAT back would be a waste of money, were you referring to power gains or note. I am happy to spend 2K on a nice refined system (something that burbles when you turn the key and has a touch of class about it) I am very happy with the Di Filippo product (that's what is on my XR6).

What would you recommend?

Bob

I hope you have a big wallet because you cant respray/touchup fantasy (or any chromoflare paint) if you get a dent or scratch on the car!

Well that's not exactly true, in fact far from it.

I had the reverse sensors fitted to mine by the dealer and was a little concerned of how they were going to match them with the rear bumper.

They say its easier than metallic.

Fair enough, im going off what a panel shop told my mate when he had someone take out the side of his CRX.

They had to respray the entire side of the vehicle to get the chomoflare to blend properly.

GEEA was referring to power gains... If all you're after is a nice engine note and want to achieve this with the a nice CAT back exhaust then by all means go ahead... if you're after performance it's not the first place to head.

Pure performance route would be something along the lines 2nd CAI, Flash (and Injectors if desired) the Intercooler / Piping / Exhaust upgrades (I think).

All depends on your goals and budget. :)
