Rev limiter - every time the rev limiter is activated the code is recorded on the computer.Ford can tell how many times car has hit the rev limiter.

That's not true.

Yeah, it is easy to tell the difference, the BF motor has a BF car wrapped around it!

And where exactly did you get 260kw from? I thought they were 245kw...

Than can tell if you exceed the the rev limiter.

They pinged me for it, but still fixed the car.

Correct.

I think you have to hit the limiter at least 5 times before the code is logged.

A code isn't listed everytime you hit the limiter, they can't tell how many times it's happened exactly.

I'm just glad they didn't de-warranty me as they saw this when I was getting my turbo replaced (the first time)

I've been super bloody carefull not to hit the limiter TOO much from then on...

I have a BF 6sp auto and it works differently the my last 4 sp auto. As a result, I hit 1st gear at about 70km/h and bounced off the rev limiter twice. Since then I get a slight vibration under hard acceleration. Could this be a slightly bent rod. My turbo is "stock as a rock". Sport.
