there was somebody a while ago that was looking for a V8 supercar body kit and had alot of trouble getting the teams to sell one as none of them were interested.

Quite often you can buy damaged ones as "souviners" from the various V8 teams. Still fairly pricey though, I've seen them go for $1500.

They would be no good for road car but, way too low and would clean up every bump on the road. They bolt on a lot differently to V8 SC than they do the road going cars.

Pretty sure they are made from fibreglass.

whats that square newpaper like magazine with usually V8 supoercars on the front.... the actual v8 supercar teams hold an auction every now and then and what they dont sell gets sold to the public. theres an add usually in the backl section. u can buy things from ex jacks, to calipers to damaged/cracked Bumpers and such. give it a look they always have an add on

The mag I think you are referring to is Auto Action

Good luck getting a V8SC kit as I have been told the front bar alone is worth $10,000+ as it is made of carbon Fibre. It also would not fit as the mounting points are completely different to a road car. Also you would hit every speed bump and you do not have an under body diffuser for ground effects.

I found this ages ago and I think there was a finished image...

Looks a bit silly without the rest of the kit, flared front guards, side skirts and boot lid spoiler... :spoton:

I'm certain that concrete isn't at all worried about practicality or looks.... I think a larger there is a much larger cause to all of this....
