I think it looks good too. To be honest I don't really understand the problem with using great design ideas from other manufacturers to make your car look/go better. :spoton:

There are plenty going around, I took a pic of a yellow one a few months ago :spoton:

Yeah it looks good but the first thing you think is OMG he's ripping off a FORD.

Pffttheres a tool somewhere in a BA XR6 T with the SS Guard Flutes, so its not only Expensive Daewoo dudes that steal ford parts!

that would be allright if they were functional, ie let hot air out from under the bonnet, but if they were left standard then that's just gay

I'm not a huge fan of cross make mods only because of the Expensive Daewoo vs Ford rivalry that exists... kind of makes you look like you wish'd you'd had the other in the first place... but in saying that it does look good! It looks good on XR8/GT/GTP and looks good on the cars I've seen that aren't Fords as well... I saw a VK with 355 and high rise Harrop manifold running twin carbies and the hole shebang fitted under the bonnet, no need for the typical type of bonnet scoops... that also get too much attention from the boys in blue...

Just as long as it's functional... I suppose... it would allow for one of those Harrop style injection manifolds to go on that need extra bonnet clearance that the Commodore/Monaro don't have... just imagine if the 'hump' never existed as a standard fitment from Ford and it was added to any car you care to name that required it to clear carbies or high rise injection I reckon we'd all be saying how cool that looks...
