I only need it once for the job so I thought I might explore fitting it as a reversing camera for my T.My question is, has anyone fitted one of these to a XR6T as yet, but more importantly, have they been able to connect it into the ICC? The camera is colour, 152 degree field of view, powered by 12v and has an RCA video output plug. It is small enough that you could drill a hole in the plastic piece above the number plate (you know the thing you put your fingers under to lift the bootlid) and would be entirely invisible unless you squatted down. I have searched through the forum and only found one topic on Reversing Cameras however, that seemed to go nowhere. All seems possible for the point of view of fitting it in and powering the camera from the reversing lamp, the real question is, is there an auxilliary input for another video feed into the ICC. I am sure there are guys that have fed dvd inputs to the ICC, can this be done very simply without having to go to the expense of some form of splitter or /???..... ok, starting to run out of talent on my end here, just guessing now.... I've got the adaptor mentioned in one of the above posts from carconverters. My only suggestion is to get a NTSC if everything else your using is NTSC. PAL if everything your using is PAL. The reason is because the picture scrolls for about a second when it changes between PAL to NTSC.
