How long can a huntsman live without food and water?

oh...a couple of months.

I had one running back and forth above my head in a XB while I was doing 120. I just squished it with my hand and wiped the guts on the seatcover. I didn't want to touch it, but I really didn't want it to fall down the back of my neck! (don't like spiders much either.)

Love the pararaph where it says. They are notorious for entering cars, and being found hiding behind sun visors or running across the dash board....

Best of luck

Aint it the truth! And I thought my incident was a unique one

Anyway, it's been 3 days now and no sign of the little bugger. Either I squashed it when I folded the rear seats back up or he's waiting for sweet revenge :spoton:

FMD, 14 days and got a real fright at lunch-time today. Was visiting a supplier and opened the side front passenger door to put a parking bay slip on my dash and lo and behold, the little fokker is squatting there in the part of the door where the hinges are :stirthepot:

Quickly ran around back to the boot to get the special chop sticks I'd put there just for this occassion and you know what they say, you can never find your chopstick when you need 'em. So grabbed a plastic tie cable instead.

Tried to scrape down onto the ground from behind the door hinge, but he just went around to the other side of the door. When I looked, he was no where to be seen. Dam it. I suspect he went off into the front part of the body cavity of the car. By the way guys, you don't know if there are any gaps that lead from the engine bay area back inside the car do you? :stirthepot:

Next time, like a real metallugist, I'm going to squash him with my hand when I see him. Just ain't worth the worry.

Last few weeks, I've been checking before I sit down in the car thinking, nah, he got squashed when I folded the back seat up-right so I'm just checking for nothing. But now I realise, I was right to check
