I thought I would let you know about a unknown way to get some money back on your T if you choose to not use your Ford Extended Warranty.

I had an additional 2 year Ford warranty on my T, but decided not to include the extended warranty booklet when I traded the car. This was mainly due to the dealer not asking about any extended warranty and the poor tradein I got.

I wrote a nice fax to Ford that included the policy number and I got a cheque back for the entire amount, less a $58 admin fee. I had paid $1195 and have a cheque for $1137, within 14 days.

So for anyone who has modded their cars and have voided their warranty or if you just need some cash, feel free to read the warranty booklet and it will give you their contact details.

ordered a manual it turned up as an auto, and since I ordered it close to the BA's birth I waited nearly 6 months for it, so the sales rep said take the auto with heaps of free stuff or wait another six months for a manual. So we were given the keys to a both manual and auto demos they had and after a good thrashing of the pair my wife and I decided we preffered the auto so we took it. I would have already known what the auto v's manual thing was like before I ordered it except they wouldnt let us test drive a turbo, they thought I was only there for a joy ride, and would only let me drive an XT.

Dazza.

Ford sent me a letter yesterday asking if I wanted to extend the warranty because my warranty expired at the end of january. They want $995 for three years or until the car has done 100,000kms. The 100,000kms wouldnt bother me cause its taken me just over three years to do 27,000kms. F#@k I think I need to go for a drive!
