I'd say a super charged V8...

If ford released it as a 6 they'd never hear the end of it, I'd say that anything baring the GTHO mark is something they are going to want to keep as 8's...

(PS I though they weren't going to release a new GTHO because of current environmental requirements basically meaning it will never have the same level of the whoa factor as the original...)

The 371kw S/C V8 rumour has been around for ages....I doubt we will see anything anytime soon but if we do, it has to be a V8.

how could ya force induct a v8, and then call it a gtho?

the originals werent S/C or T, so why do it to the new one?

GTHO = all V8 muscle, if another is to be made, make it all engine, but with big specs!

but aint no bigger engine gonna fit in the falcon, so force fed is the way to go, I thought the engine tech was going to be borrowed from the s/c mustang 5.4L in the US if it ever got built.

Dazza.

But to be fair those were the seventies when the v8`s weren`t choked with compliance and emission guidelines.

New century brings new technology, instead of a 4bbl carburator that replaced the 2 bbl carburator your just adding a little supercharger and presto.

Or maybe ford should just wack a twin turbo on it considering how it showing Expensive Daewoo how to do a turbo right.
